The Northern Cardinal amigurumi pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions for a male and female Cardinal that are accompanied by high-quality photos of the process.
This listing includes photo tutorials on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, invisible finishes and closing small rounds.

The crest and tail are crocheted on the body. The wings and beak are sewn on

Pure Black (402), Soft Fudge (410), and Slate Grey (406)]
You will need less than one 50g (1.8oz) skein in each color.
- 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2, depending on how tightly you crochet
- 5mm safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Stitch marker
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Pins
- 2 x 30cm / 12” pieces of 1mm thick (18 AWG) craft wire (optional)
