THE CROW’S MESSAGE: Deep Knowing

Trust yourself in times of transformation.

Guidance is available. Ask and listen for the answer within.

You are protected through this transition in your life.

LANGUAGE: English (American crochet terminology)

CONSTRUCTION:

The beak, head, body and tail are crocheted in one piece. The wings are sewn on. There is the option of attaching wired feet.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
4-ply (fingering/sport weight) or DK (light worsted weight) yarn in black and gray

[I used Scheepjes Catona in Jet Black (110) and Anthracite (501)]

2mm (A-0) hook for the beak

Black or brown and white embroidery floss

Fiberfill

Yarn needle (preferably with bent tip)

Large-eyed sewing needle

Stitch marker

Sewing pins

Scissors

1mm (AWG 18) craft wire for the feet (optional)

Small flat pliers to shape the feet (optional)

SIZE:
The crow will be about 11 cm (4.3 inches) long from head to tail. It will have a wingspan of about 14 cm (5.5 inches) if using the indicated yarn weight and hook size.

If you would like it to be larger or smaller, you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.
